Directions from the South, M90

Direct route: By road from Edinburgh and Edinburgh Airport:

• Follow the signs for Forth Road Bridge M90 and cross Forth Road Bridge.
• Go to junction 8 then on to the A91 St Andrews road.
• Go straight on at the first roundabout as you come to St Andrews, then left at the mini roundabout, then straight on to the end of North Street and follow road past the Cathedral on to South Street. Take left at mini roundabout on to Abbey Street then first right on to Greenside Place and immediately first right on to Queens Terrace and go straight on to the end of Queens Terrace before turning left at the Brooksby pillars into the driveway at Brooksby.

For a more leisurely alternative: Fife Coastal Route

• From Edinburgh follow signs for M90 and cross Forth Road Bridge.
  
• Leave M90 at junction 3 following sign for Kirkcaldy A92.
  
• At Glenrothes turn right on to A911 sign posted for Windygates and Leven.
  
• At roundabout go straight on to A915 to Leven, Lundin Links, Lower and Upper Largo.
  
• At Upper Largo go straight ahead (do not follow sign for St Andrews) onto A917 to Elie and follow coastal road to St Monans, Pittenweem, Anstruther, Crail, Kingsbarns and St Andrews.
  
• On entering St Andrews past Kinkell Caravan park go straight on at double roundabout and follow road on to Saint Mary Street and then Abbey Walk past hospital and after a few hundred metres take first left on to Greenside Place and immediately first right on to Queens Terrace and go straight on to the end of Queens Terrace before turning left at the Brooksby pillars into the driveway at Brooksby.

A private car park to the front of the building provides ample safe parking for all rooms.

By Rail: Travelling from Edinburgh, trains go to Leuchars station (about a one hour journey) then a bus or taxi ride takes you the 5 mile journey to St Andrews.

On foot: For those ‘on foot’ the bus station in St Andrews is an easy ten-minute walk or a four-minute taxi ride.

From Abroad:
The most convenient international airport is Edinburgh (see directions above). Those travelling from Glasgow Airport should take the M8 for Edinburgh and at junction 2 follow sign for Forth Road Bridge and after crossing bridge follow direct or coastal route as directed above.
